High mountain reservoirs Kaprun

The Kaprun reservoirs are among the most beautiful places in Austria and are located in the rear Kaprun valley. Nestled between the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Alps, on the border of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Once upon a time, a myth was shaped here in the post-war period, which can still be traced. Be it in the Erlebniswelt Strom (World of Experience Electricity), which presents the history and challenges of the structure in two languages, but also the diversity of the Hohe Tauern National Park. But also the overwhelming technical achievement that was realized here in the middle of the Alps.
